A number of Hollywood big-names have declared their support for Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) in her  bid for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination. Harris, who has served as the junior U.S. Senator from California since 2017, has been garnering support from Hollywood elites for quite some time. Among the most recent to show large financial support for her presidential bid are actor Ben Affleck, who gave $2,800, and actresses Elizabeth Banks and Eva Longoria Baston, who donated $5,600 and $5,400, respectively. Allison Pill, Wanda Sykes, Lily Tomlin and America Farrera also donated money.

And people from behind the screen seem to be supporting Harris as well. Filmmaker J.J. Abrams gave the campaign $2,800 after hosting a campaign event for the senator in his California home. Meanwhile, producer Lee Daniels gave $2,700 and Hollywood fundraiser Jeffrey Katzenberg and Fox Television Group Chairman Gary Newman also gave similar amounts.

As of now, Harris has raised $13.2 million for her campaign, putting her closely behind fellow democratic presidential hopefuls Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.
