Ben Affleck has reportedly decided to change his cell phone number to distance himself from his children’s former nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

Affleck, who is rumored to have carried on an affair with ex-nanny Ouzounian, has allegedly been getting a lot of calls from the 28-year-old Ouzounian. In an effort to avoid her, the Gone Girl star took the drastic step of getting a new phone number.

Though it’s unknown if Affleck ever actually did have an affair with Ouzounian during his marriage to Jennifer Garner, he apparently has no desire to be involved with her now. “She is in for a rude surprise!” a source told RadarOnline.

“Christine had been calling Ben’s cell phone a lot after he came back to Los Angeles, but Ben made it obvious to Christine that he had no interest in a relationship,” the source added. “She wasn’t taking the hint, so after the calls continued, Ben changed his cell phone number to get Christine off his back.”

Since reports came out alleging that Affleck and Garner’s split was precipitated by Affleck cheating on his wife with Ouzounian, the onetime nanny has been anything but discrete. She seemed to be reveling in her newfound infamy while routinely smiling for paparazzi cameras, and was rumored to be angling to parlay her tabloid celebrity into a gig on The Bachelor or Dancing with the Stars.

“Ben can’t believe how stupid he had been to ever get linked to her,” the insider told Radar. “She looks like such an opportunist.”

Affleck and Garner announced their plans to divorce on June 30. Since then, the two have spent a considerable amount of time together with their three children – Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. Earlier this month, the erstwhile pair was spotted smiling together while exiting a family counseling center, sparking rumors of a possible reconciliation.
