Ben Affleck Becomes A Meme Again Looking Miserable At The Grammys

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck attended the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 5 and appeared on camera several times.

Viewers noticed that Affleck looked miserable at the ceremony. During the musical performances, he attempted to dance and look interested, but he instead seemed upset and lost in thought.

This has obviously resulted in countless tweets and memes of him and his “resting sad face.”

Many found him quite relatable.

“You can see his batteries draining in real time,” one user tweeted. “Man is already at 23%.”

“Ben Affleck is me filling the room with negative energy when I’m hangry,” another said.

This comes after the “Sad Affleck” meme became popular online in 2016 when the actor appeared to be in dismay in response to an interview question concerning the lukewarm critical reception of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Around the same time, Affleck was pictured smoking a cigarette with a look of pain and distress on his face, and later on, there were photos of the actor with boxes of Dunkin’ Donuts.

Affleck and Lopez married last year and have been living together in Los Angeles. Lopez talked about the arrangement on the Today show, saying, “We moved in together. The kids moved in together. It’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams coming true. And it’s just been a phenomenal year. Like, my best year, I think, since my kids were born.”
