Ben Affleck, 40, took home top honors for his acclaimed Argo, starring Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Victor Garber, Tate Donovan, and Affleck, at Sunday's BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards, after being snubbed for Oscar nominations.
In addition to Argo's win for Best Film, Affleck also nabbed a Best Director trophy, and William Goldenberg took home the award for Best Film Editing, for a total of three wins.
Not surprisingly, Daniel Day-Lewis secured the Best Actor role for his transformation into Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, and Christoph Waltz won Supporting Actor for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
Skyfall, Life of Pi and Les Miserables were other notable winners of the BAFTA Awards celebration, including a Best Supporting Actress win for Anne Hathaway for her role as the doomed Fantine.
