Bebe Rexha Wears Goggles At L.A. Concert After Being Hit In Face With Phone

Bebe Rexha wore blue safety goggles at her second-to-last show in L.A. at her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour.

This comes after she was suddenly hit by a phone in the face by a fan, Nicolas Malvagna, on June 18 in New York at Pier 17, which required three stitches. The incident also forced her to end her show early, much to fans’ dismay.

During the L.A. concert, Rexha was adorned in all blue, including a blue sequin jacket and blue shades. Before starting the show, she set two rules for fans: have fun and don’t throw any phones.

Rexha posted a series of photos on Instagram today after she finished the U.S. leg of her tour. She captioned the post, “Thank you LA for helping us wrap up the US leg of the “Best f—– night of my life” tour. Europe you’re Next!!!! I want to take this moment to thank everyone who has put so much hard work into this tour. Here we go. Lol.”

The photos featured Rexha including ones of her performing, her venue and her partying.

After Rexha got injured, she received medical attention for her eye but did not postpone any of the remaining concerts. She picked up the performances on the next scheduled day in Philadelphia where she joked “just no phones on my face tonight please, I beg of you.”

Malvagna was arrested shortly after the assault and was charged with harassment, assault, aggravated harassment and attempted assault.

Rexha updated fans on her eye after many asked her how she was doing. She tweeted a photo of her bruised eye saying, “My eye black and blue now but much better!!!! Thank you!!!”

Rexha is not the only singer to be injured during a concert in recent days. It seems that fans are going through a phase of throwing things on stage, which is causing stars to get injured.

Ava Max was slapped while performing on her On Tour (Finally) tour. She finished her song despite her eye being scratched and then took a short break to receive medical attention.

Kelsea Ballerini was similarly assaulted on stage when a fan threw their bracelet at her, forcing her to pause her show. She posted a statement on her Instagram story about the incident stating, “Hi. I’m fine. Someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye and it more or so just scared me than hurt me. We all may have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown. And that’s why I walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd felt safe to continue.”
