Baz Luhrmann‘s film Moulin Rogue has now come to life. Moulin Rogue: The Musical premiered on July 24 on Broadway. To mark the occasion, Luhrmann walked the red carpet with Vogue editor Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Shaffer Carrozzini.
Set in Montmarte Quarter in Paris, France, Moulin Rogue: The Musical tells the story of Christian, an ambitious love-sick writer, and a dazzling chanteuse, Satine. Their lives collide at the Moulin Rouge with many other characters which include Harold Zidler, the tempting Nini, and The Duke of Monroth.
