Batman And Bane In One-On-One Combat

As production on The Dark Knight Rises nears its end (the movie is set for a July 20, 2012 release date), so-called "spy pictures" from on-set in New York City … well, rise. In addition to photos and videos of a large-scale riots and hostages adorned in bright-colored blazers, from MovieWeb.com, there have been sightings of Batman (played by Christian Bale) and his nemesis, Bane (Tom Hardy), duking it out one-on-one in Gotham City's Financial District. Talk about occupying Wall Street.

Though the two actors were seen going at it, they weren't exactly staying in character in between takes. Onlookers saw them laughing and chatting on the sidelines, Celebuzz reports. Perhaps they were joking about the giant fake snow machine that was pouring winter down on Gotham City.

The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan, also stars Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
