Basketball Wives star Brooke Bailey is grieving the loss of her 25-year-old daughter, Kayla Bailey, who died on September 25.

Brooke paid tribute to her daughter on September 26 with a series of photos of her on Instagram — in some recent ones, Kayla strikes model-esque poses, and in some older pictures, she’s an adorable small child.

Brooke’s heart-wrenching caption reads, “Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey. This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon.”

The reality star further expressed her thoughts on her Instagram Stories. “My baby girl is so Loved by all of youuuuu!!! The love and support my family has received today is unreal and so appreciated,” she thanked fans.

In a new slide, Brooke wrote, “Kayla left a mark on so many lives. She entered the room and demanded respect, love and attention. If you had the pleasure of meeting her and being friends with her she has forever changed your life.”

“Although I was not prepared, I am grateful for the 25 years he Blessed me to have HIS child,” she added. “To love her, to hold her, to teach her, to comfort her. She was my happiness on Earth.”

Celebrities like Nicki Minaj and Tabitha Brown left their support for Brooke below the tribute. Minaj commented seven broken heart emojis, and Brown wrote, “Omg my heart just broke for you. I’m so sorry honey.”

Basketball Wives’ account also offered their support in the Instagram comments. “We are so sorry for your loss Brooke. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time,” they wrote.

Brooke’s Instagram bio now reads, “FOREVER Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/97-9/25/22 #PrettyBlack.”

The cause of Kayla’s death has not yet been revealed, but Brooke reposted an article claiming that her daughter died in a car accident in Memphis over the weekend.
