Where Is Barack Obama Now? Ex-President’s Post-Inauguration Plan

President Barack Obama whisked away to the British Virgin Islands for a much-needed vacation following Donald Trump‘s inauguration.

WHERE ARE THE OBAMAS?

The Obama family, sans Malia who stayed back for the Sundance Film Festival, jetted off on an island vacation after Barack’s second presidential term came to a close.

Photos of the former POTUS emerged of him dressed in style, wearing shorts, a golf polo, and a backwards hat. Michelle Obama was also relaxing headed to the beach, wearing short shorts and a cute hat.

Aside from the beach vacation, the Obamas are working on The Obama Foundation as their project away from the White House. The foundation was established in 2014 to inspire the next generation of great leaders. “The Obama Foundation will inspire the next generation of young leaders all over the world,” reads its mission statement. “It will convene the brightest minds with the newest ideas from across the political spectrum and draw strength from the rich diversity and vitality of Chicago, the city where the President and First Lady started a family and raised their daughters.”

Sasha Obama has one more year of high school left, and Malia will be off at Harvard come the fall. She is currently taking a gap year between high school and college, and plans to intern at the Weinstein Company this spring.
