Barack Obama appeared in the season seven premiere of Jerry Seinfeld’s web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee as a special guest on Wednesday.
Seinfeld explained that Obama was the right guest star because “in my opinion, [he] has gotten off just enough funny lines to qualify for getting on this show.”
Seinfeld pulled up to the White House in a classic 1963 Split Back Corvette.
“This is a sweet car right here, this is beautiful,” Obama praised.
“The coolest car, American-made, for the coolest guy ever to hold his office,” said Seinfeld.
Seinfeld was ready to take the president for a ride to get coffee, but the Secret Service wouldn’t let Obama leave the White House grounds.
After checking out Obama’s official mode of transportation, “The Beast,” which the president described as “a Caddy, basically on a tank frame,” the two men headed to a White House downstairs cafeteria for some coffee and conversation.
“If I slid open your underwear drawer: one brand or a number of brands?” Seinfeld asked.
“You gotta go with one brand,” Obama replied.
The president also remarked that he has a closet like normal people and even picks out his own suits. “I only have blue and grey suits,” Obama said.
Seinfeld also asked the president about his most embarrassing moment.
“This may be it,” Obama joked.
