Barack & Michelle Obama Celebrate 28th Wedding Anniversary By Asking Americans to Vote
Over the weekend the Obama’s celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. The former president and former first lady took to Instagram to celebrate their love for another and encourage Americans to vote in the upcoming presidential elections.
In their individual posts on Instagram, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama addressed their fans by requesting everyone to go out and vote.
“And this year, we have a request for you – pick one person in your life who might not vote and make sure they do. Tell us about it in the comments,” said Michelle in her caption.
The former president joined his wife with his caption, asking his followers to reach out to someone in their lives to go out and vote this year.

“Help them get registered. Help them make a plan to cast their ballot. Send them to iwillvote.com to get started,” wrote Obama via Instagram.
The former president didn’t only have well wishes for his loving wife, Obama also took to Twitter to wish a strong recovery to President Trump following his COVID-19 positive diagnosis.
Michelle and I hope that the President, First Lady, and all those affected by the coronavirus around the country are getting the care they need and are on the path to a speedy recovery.

In a continued tweet, Obama addressed the political battle the country is in right now between the Democratic and Republican parties, but reminded his audience to hope for the well-being of Americans, regardless of their political party.
Obviously, we’re in the midst of a big political battle right now, and while there’s a lot at stake, let’s remember that we’re all Americans. We’re all human beings. And we want everyone to be healthy, no matter our party.
