Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter Mourns Death Of Sister Bobbie Jean
Nick Carter took to Instagram to mourn the loss of his sister Bobbie Jean Carter, who died last month. He shared a childhood photo with his fans and expressed heartbreak in the caption.
“It may take a lifetime to fully process the loss my family has endured over the years – most recently, with the sudden passing of our sister Bobbie Jean. I am completely heartbroken,” Carter said. “Thank you for all your love and kind words. We are reminded again that life is precious, fleeting and to cherish the time we have with the ones we love. I know she is finally at peace with God. I love you BJ.”
Her cause of death has yet to be confirmed, although it’s speculated that she suffered cardiac arrest.
Bobbie Jean’s death comes a year after their sibling Aaron Carter died in November 2022 at the age of 34.
Nick opened up about the death of his brother in November. “It’s still unbelievable to me,” he said. “I’m still processing the whole situation and trying to make sense of it — because it hasn’t. But I’m hoping that one day I can make sense of it all.”
Nick has also lost another sister, Leslie Carter, from an overdose in 2012. She was 25 years old at the time.
Aaron’s ex-fiancee is suing doctors and pharmacies that provided him with drugs before his death.
