The Bachelor took the week off from Rose Ceremonies for the Women Tell All Special in which Chris Soules had to come face-to-face with the women he’d broken up with over the weeks.
As the special kicked off, a camera followed the girls primping backstage, then showed a montage of Chris and Bachelor host Chris Harrison crashing Bachelor viewing parties. When it was time for the women to get their chance to share their thoughts on the season, Britt was up first. After chastising Carly for pretending to be her friend before going behind her back, Britt claims that she really was falling in love with the Iowan farmer – and would have stuck around had Carly not told Chris about her lies. Carly quickly shuts Britt down, saying she was the third person to tell the Bachelor about her.
Jillian then decides to weigh in on Carly’s trash talking ways, calling her out on what she said to Chris about her. Attacking Britt, Jillian’s favorite person in the house, was even worse. Just as her rage is about to get the best of her, Chris Harrison tries to get her to calm down. The Carly bashing isn’t done yet, though, as Britt tells her former friend that she thinks that Carly’s vendetta had to do with her own pain and not a reflection of her own motivations in the house.
Next up in the hot seat is Kelsey, who says she feels betrayed after watching the reel of what people in the house really felt about her. Again, she explains away their feelings by referencing her use of big words, though stops short of saying that she thinks she’s better than the rest of the women. After a commercial break, the women got their chance to level with Kelsey, with most of them saying in one way or another that they were repulsed with how she tried to use her status as a widow to earn roses.
Ashley S., whose sanity was questioned during her stint on the Bachelor, gifts Chris Harrison with an onion from her new garden. She defends herself in regards to her chat with cats, explaining that it was only one cat and that she knew it couldn’t talk back. Enjoying Ashley S.’s personal brand of crazy, Chris Harrison invited her to join Bachelor in Paradise.
When Chris comes out, he first has to answer to Britt, who thinks she was sent home because of Carly, but he explains it was merely because it wasn’t right between them. To Kaitlyn, he explains that choosing between the three of them wasn’t an easy choice, but concedes he shouldn’t have made her stand through the rose ceremony. As for Jade, Chris has a tougher time articulating answers for her questions.
First of all, Jade wants to know why he referred to what he learned about her on his home visit “disturbing.” He said that he’d only meant that he was caught off-guard by the new version of her. In the blog, Chris also called the whole Playboy thing “awkward.” He explains that it was weird looking at the pictures with her, but that they were not the reason he sent her home.
Chris will choose between Whitney and Becca in the Bachelor finale next Monday on ABC at 8/7c.
