Aziz Ansari won an award on Sunday for his performance on the Master of None television series. While he was delivering his speech, there was one unexpected moment in his speech.
Ansari’s speech proceeded as normal until the moment when his mouth moved without sound. Because the audio cut out when he was talking, people wondered what exactly Ansari said that would require censoring.
However, speculation didn’t need to last long, as the Golden Globes themselves tweeted out Ansari’s entire speech. “I’m glad we won this one because it would’ve really sucked to lose two of these in a row; it would’ve been a really shitty moment for me,” is the sentence that was censored.
