Australian Home Minister Clare O’Neil slams Donald Trump Jr. for postponing his tour calling him a “big baby.”
Trump Jr. was set to go on tour in July to Australia with Alex Antic and Nigel Farage to discuss right-wing political ideas.
In a Facebook post, Turning Point Australia announced the postponement and suggested visa problems were the cause stating, “It seems America isn’t the only country that makes it difficult for the Trumps.”
They attached a brief statement that reads, “Dear Ticket Holder, Turning Point wish to advise that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Donald Trump Jr. Live! Scheduled at Aware Super Theatre on Sunday 9 July 2023 has been postponed. Ticket holders are urged to hold onto their tickets, with details of the rescheduled date to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Tickets for the original Sydney show will be valid for the new date- ticket holders will be contacted directly by Ticketek with details. Patrons unable to attend the rescheduled dates are able to obtain a full refund. For any further questions, please contact Ticketek via the link.”
O’Neil, who is a high-ranking minister in the center-left Labor government, claims that Trump was given a visa and the reason he is postponing the show is due to low ticket sales.

She tweeted several statements, which were recently deleted, saying that “Geez, Donald Trump Jr is a bit of a sore loser.”
She continued to write, “Donald Trump Jr has been given a visa to come to Australia. He didn’t get canceled. He’s just a big baby, who isn’t very popular.”
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese backed up O’Neil’s claim and asserted that Trump Jr. had been granted a visa.
“Donald Trump Jr’s visa was dealt with in the normal way,” he said. “Like anyone else, he was entitled to come here. The deferral of his travel is a matter for him.”
