Cher (Cherilyn Sarkisian), 73, recently had her last show at Manchester Arena. The 1998 Grammy-winning talent has been performing for over two decades now, and today, has sold over 100 million records worldwide.
In between sets, Cher made a public service announcement to her audience. During a roughly 10-minute long monologue the singing sensation talked about how much she hates getting older. She said that turning 40 “pissed her off.” “It drives me crazy when older women say ‘oh I feel better now and I feel so content’,” she continued.

The mega star ultimately called out all the misconceptions and lies about getting older. “I always tell my age because it’s like a public service,” she admitted.

The 73-year-old kept it real with fans about her age, and change in general. “And for old ladies like me it’s time to make a change and make your hair blue,” she said (which completely explained her bold look that night).
In a bright, feathery blue wig and a loosely flowing, sparkly blue dress, Cher rocked the crowd and performed her classic piece “If I Could Turn Back Time” and her record-breaking single “Believe.” The latter was encored, ending the show on a perfect note.
