Anderson, who is known for her black smokey-eye makeup and dark lipstick, has recently been going makeup-free at all her events. At the 2025 BAFTAs, she wore nothing but a smile and a custom Jacquemus gown.

Anderson, who was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Last Showgirl, blinged it up with a 14k lab-grown diamond necklace around her neck. The piece has a history—it was recycled using the diamonds from a previous 2024 Met Gala look.

Anderson started going bare-faced when her long-time makeup artist passed away from breast cancer in 2019. “She was the best,” Anderson told Elle. “And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”
