At 50, Eva Mendes Says She Never Felt ‘Beautiful’ – But Husband Ryan Gosling Makes Her Feel ‘Sexy’

Following her 50th birthday, Eva Mendes says she still feels “sexy at times,” and credits her husband, Ryan Gosling, for making her feel young.

“The way my man looks at me is just… at times I’m like, ‘Oh my God,'” she said in a recent interview with the London Times. “That might not sit well with people, but so much of how I feel is a reflection of what he’s giving me.”

“There’s so many things that can make me feel sexy, and I’d say that I feel more sexy than not,” she continued. “I guess because I’ve never considered myself beautiful, but I’ve always felt very sexy.”

Gosling and Mendes began dating in 2011 and were married in 2016. They share two children.

Mendes also opened up about the plastic surgery she has received over the years.

“I’m not afraid to try things that are safe, because most of these little treatments, let’s say, are reversible,” she explained. “If you get Botox, it goes away if you don’t like it. There have been times where I’ve regretted someone… and then you just wait it out.”

The actress said she is looking forward to this next chapter of her life.

“It was totally fine,” she said of her 50th birthday. “It’s just that number sounds crazy. I feel like a girl inside and I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ I’m not a girl anymore.”
