NASA astronaut Scott Kelly’s ended his year in space by taping a Benny Hillinspired video in space, while wearing a gorilla suit.

The video was made with the help of British astronaut Tim Peake.

The gorilla suit was given to Kelly by his twin brother, Mark Kelly, for his birthday. Mark is a retired astronaut. It was Mark who initially shared the video via twitter:

Shortly after, Scott Kelly shared a longer version of the video. The video is framed as an educational video but quickly devolves into Kelly in the suit chasing Peake around the space station.

When Kelly returns he will be the first American to complete a continuous year-long mission in space. He is currently the American who has spent the most cumulative time in space. Kelly is one of only five humans in the world who have spent a year or more in orbit on one mission.

Cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko worked with Kelly on the yearlong mission to measure the effects of prolonged weightlessness on the human body. This is to determine the viability of missions to Mars and beyond. Mark went under the same medical experiments as his brother on earth, so that they could compare Scott’s results with a genetic double on Earth.
