Ashley Tisdale pecked Shenae Grimes on the cheek as the two parted ways after grabbing lunch in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Tisdale, 28, and Grimes, 24, who costarred in rom-com Picture This back in 2008, dined at LA eatery Toast Bakery Café. For the afternoon outing, Tisdale rocked a pair of skinny jeans with a black blazer over a striped shirt. Grimes, meanwhile, sported black jeans and an oversized, green military jacket. For footwear, Tisdale wore leopard-print booties, while Grimes had on a pair of low-heeled Doc Martin’s. Tisdale also carried a silver laptop under her arm.
Tisdale may have been asking Grimes for some suggestions for her upcoming wedding to Christopher French during the lunch date. French proposed to the former High School Musical star last August after eight months of dating at the top of the Empire State Building in New York City.
“I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it. I was like, ‘Okay, this is the guy.’ And he knew the same thing. It was just this feeling that it doesn’t get any better,” Tisdale told Ryan Seacrest about her music producer fiancé last year. “I can’t explain it! It’s just natural between us. With other relationships, you’re trying too much and trying to make it work and then there’s just a moment when you find somebody and you’re like, "Holy s–t! This is so natural."'
