Ashley Graham Shares Photos Of Her Breastfeeding Son, Stirs Controversy

Plus-size model and new mom Ashley Graham took to her Instagram to share some candid photos of her breastfeeding her son.

In the photos, Graham is seen in a restaurant and drinking from a mug while Isaac Ervin, her one-month-old infant son, is being breastfed. In the first photo, Graham is seen taking a long sip from the mug, while in the second photo, she fondly looks down towards her son. In the caption, the model typed the emojis for a cup of coffee and a glass of milk. The post, which has over 1 million likes on Instagram, has a number of positive comments from fans. “I’m not nursing anymore, but after 7 years of doing it (sometimes in shame), I’m so glad to see this image! So proud of you and congratulations!!” wrote one user. Several celebrities also took the opportunity to give well wishes to the model. “YASSSSS,” wrote pop star Demi Lovato.

This is not the first time Graham posted a breastfeeding photo to Instagram – the model posted a photo on February 4, celebrating the birth of her son.

“I remember holding Isaac for the first time and telling [my husband] Justin [Ervin], ‘Now we’re family forever,'” Graham wrote in the post. She continued, writing, “I have so many reasons to be grateful; all of the love and support from this amazing community, an incredible husband, and a beautiful baby who has opened my eyes to just how amazing this world really is.” In the photo, Graham is breastfeeding Isaac in the more private setting of a bedroom. Ervin is seen resting his chin on Graham’s shoulder and softly cradling the boy’s head. The two parents look lovingly towards their son. In the post, Graham also thanked Ervin and Isaac for being her favorite guests on the podcast Pretty Big Deal, which is the podcast Graham hosts.
