As Concerns About Her Mental Health Grow, Britney Spears Calls Her Brother ‘Sexy’ In Mexican Vacation Video

In a video shared to Instagram on Thursday, Britney Spears was joined on vacation in Mexico with her older brother, Bryan Spears.

As Britney showed off her bikini body, she shared with viewers, “My brother decided to visit me in Mexico. Hello, Mr. Bryan.”

She panned the camera to show Bryan and told her followers, “It’s my sexy brother… I love my brother so much. He flew all the way over here. He’s so nice and handsome.”

Some Instagram users felt that two mentions of her brother’s attractive features were one mention too many. Regardless, Britney warned, “To all the girls out there, you better watch the f— out b—–s. You’ll have to deal with me.”

Britney captioned the reel, “It’s almost Christmas!!! Beautiful family!!! Love y’all!!!”

Britney’s relationship with her family was tense throughout her 13-year conservatorship in 2008, managed by her father. The conservatorship ended after a public legal battle, in which Spears testified that the conservatorship was “abusive” in 2021, and Spears has since been making efforts to mend her family relationships.

Bryan and Britney were previously seen together in Mexico in July, and a few months earlier they shared a trip to Las Vegas, and Britney is reportedly working very hard to develop her relationship with her two previously estranged sons, Sean, 19, and James, 18. This task was made harder when the boys moved to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, in August 2023.

Sean and James have previously voiced their resentment for the way Britney raised them and the emotional trauma they underwent due to her exposure to the world, particularly through her social media presence.

Britney was recently ordered to continue to pay $40,000 in monthly child support until her sons finish high school. In most of the U.S., Britney would not be required to pay child support past the age of 18. Hawaii is one of the few states where parents are legally required to pay child support until the end of high school. Federline has denounced questions of whether he moved the family specifically to continue getting child support payments.

In recent months, concerns about Britney’s mental well-being have been rising after EMTs treated her at an L.A. hotel after suffering a meltdown.
