Arnold Schwarzenegger, 65, may star in the badass action flick of the summer that topped box office sales this weekend, The Expendables 2, also starring tough guys Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude van Damme, Bruce Willis and Liam Hemsworth, but that doesn't mean that filming stunts is as easy as it used to be for him.

"At 65 your knees are not as forgiving anymore," Schwarzenegger said of his experience making the movie, reports USA Today. "When you do these action movies you have to recognize that it takes longer to recuperate. And you will be sore the next day."

Filming the sequel to The Expendables caught up with Schwarzenegger. "There were scenes where I had to drop down to my knees over and over again," he said. "When you get up each time you really feel it in your knees."

For the most part, however, getting older doesn't seem to bother Schwarzenegger. As far as plastic surgery goes, he reveals himself to be a true purist. He has never gotten "botox. Or any surgery. So this is the real thing," he said, indicating his face.
