Arnold Schwarzenegger Pranks Gold's Gym Exercisers

Arnold Schwarzenegger donned a black mustache and wig to go undercover as a Gold’s Gym employee to prank unsuspecting people going about their workouts.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Gold's Gym Prank

Schwarzenegger made the prank video in an effort to bring awareness for the After-School All-Stars program. In the video titled “Arnold Works At Golds,” Schwarzenegger roams about the equipment at the Venice, California Gold’s Gym, offering advice to men and women getting in their exercise.

Although disguised with the wig and the long black hair pulled into a ponytail, some individuals still easily recognized the Terminator star. When he approached one woman on the treadmill and asked her how many miles she was running, she looked up semi-star struck and said, “Oh my god… Hi!”

When another woman said he looked familiar but couldn’t place Schwarzenegger – who had on the Gold's uniform's dark gray shirt and nametag, in addition to a matching baseball cap – he had a snarky answer ready for her. "Maybe you've seen me on an FBI Most Wanted list," Schwarzenegger offered.

Schwarzenegger: 'Another Rep Of Water Drinking'

For those who were oblivious to his true identity, Schwarzenegger was able to have a bit more fun. “Remember, 75% of the body is water. Keep drinking because we haven’t finished yet with the water drinking,” he said to one gym-goer taking a sip from the water fountain. “Remember, we do everything in reps, so you’ve done two reps of water drinking. Usually we do 10 reps of everything, so do another rep of water drinking.”

At the end of the video, Schwarzenegger, still in disguise, looks up at the various pictures of himself posted on the walls of the gym. “Wow, he looks so good,” he jokes. “So handsome.”
