Arnold Schwarzenegger Praises His Son Patrick’s Nude Scene In ‘White Lotus’: ‘Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree’

Arnold Schwarzenegger has made his pride in his son’s acting career clear, no matter how scandalous.

In season three of the Max show White Lotus, Schwarzenegger’s son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, plays the son of an affluent southern family and surprises viewers with a fully nude scene. 

Schwarzenegger, along with Patrick’s mother, Maria Shriver, siblings Joseph Baena, Christopher, Christina, Katherine, and brother-in-law Chris Pratt, attended the season three premiere on February 10. Patrick’s fiancée, Abby Champion, was also present.

Schwarzenegger shared a photo of him and his son on the red carpet.

He captioned the post, “I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate @patrickschwarzenegger at the White Lotus season 3 premiere.

He went on, “What a show@ I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday – trust me.”

Schwarzenegger himself appeared mostly nude in the 1984 movie Terminator.

Earlier this month, Patrick revealed what pushed him to go for the role.

“Every time we would watch the show, season one and season two, every time Theo James would come up. Or in the first season, Jake Lacey… My mom was always like, ‘Why haven’t you auditioned for this? Why didn’t you go out for this?’ And my sister’s like, ‘You need to call your agents right now. This is ridiculous that you’re not in on the show, that you didn’t even audition,’” he told People.

He remembered he didn’t tell anyone when he got the audition offer because he didn’t think he would be getting a callback. “I could not enjoy the holidays,” he recalled. “I had so much anxiety. I was freaking out over it…I was in Idaho with my dad, and we go skiing every morning, and the audition was at 9 a.m. and I was like, ‘Hey, I’m not going to go skiing today.’ And he was like, ‘Why?’ I was like, ‘I’ve got to do this audition thing, so just whatever, you guys go and just. No one call me. I texted all my family, ‘Do not call me today, don’t text me, don’t do anything.’”

White Lotus has reportedly already been greenlit for season four.
