Lance Armstrong was hospitalized on Monday after crashing during the first stage of bike race in Spain. He was caught in a pile-up and may have injured his collarbone. The champ was competing in his first European race since starting his comeback after three years in retirement, though he was only ranked 125th on Saturday. "People think that somehow the same rider they saw in July, 2005 is miraculously going to be the same rider in March, 2009," Armstrong told reporters. "It isn't so."
