Actor Armie Hammer was trending on Twitter over the weekend after screenshots of his alleged Instagram DMs were leaked on social media.
The original tweet has now been deleted but a Twitter user alleged that the Call Me By Your Name star has cannibalistic desires. The tweet caught the attention of many before it was taken down. This led users to tweet screenshots of DMs of their own explicit chats with the actor what what appears to be his official Instagram account.
This is not the first time the actor has made headlines. In 2017, Hammer liked several tweets about bondage and other sexual interests. One Twitter user recently shared a series of tweets with messages that seem to be from the actor’s official account, but it is unknown if the images are genuine or edited.
Not too long after these tweets gained traction on the social media site, thousands of users shared their opinion on the topic. One writing,”Someone made fake DMS of Armie Hammer claiming to be a cannibal. Just another normal Sunday on Twitter,” leading to many memes made about the actor.
