The tour is Grande’s first since her 2017 Dangerous Woman tour, where a suicide bomber detonated an explosive at her concert in Manchester, killing 22 people. After taking some time to herself to cope, and dealing with a high-profile engagement and subsequent break-up with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, Grande’s newest album Sweetener dropped in August of 2018. The album shot to the top of the charts and picked up the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album in February.
Grande’s tour will feature a special stop in Manchester in honor of the shooting that took place at her last tour stop at the arena. The three songs that currently reign over the charts, 7 Rings, Break Up With Your Girlfriend, and Thank U, Next will no doubt be some of Grande’s biggest crowd-pleasers.
