Ariana Grande Returns To Social Media – Releases First New Music Since Manchester Attacks

Ariana Grande, 24, has resurfaced on social media to tease a new release.

She hasn’t been on Twitter for almost five months but recently dropped several teasers hinting at new music. Grande first tweeted a single tear drop to her fans, then a “missed you.” What elevated the tease was an upside down tweet saying “4.20 no to tears left to cry,” she then vaguely confirmed fans inquires with a tweet of cryptic cover art with the words “no tears left to cry” on the bottom with the caption “friday.”

A close source to Grande told Us Weekly she’s “excited to release this new music” and that “she is more than ready to be out there again.” Even though the artist hasn’t performed in a while, the source told the publication Grande is “more excited than nervous.”

The singer hasn’t released any solo music since the Manchester attack which killed 22 people and injured 59 at her concert. It’s understandable that she would have suffered trauma from the incident. Her manager, Scooter Braun, revealed to E! News that Grande was emotional after the attack. “When she found out fans of hers had died, she was so sad, I mean, she cried for days,” Braun said.

Grande recently tweeted “tonight,” alluding that the new single or album will be released at midnight.
