Ariana Grande Dating Ethan Slater Days After Divorce From Husband Dalton Gomez Is Announced

Ariana Grande has already moved on from her husband Dalton Gomez with her rumored new boyfriend Ethan Slater.

The two have been spotted giggling while working together on the set of Wicked in the past few months.

They were pictured standing face to face on May 31, before the rumors about a possible romance began. Fans are confused as to how long they’ve been together as photos of them together surfaced months ago.

Slater recently split with his wife Lilly Jay, but on Mother’s Day, he shared a loving post for her on Instagram, as the two share one son together. “Happy first Mother’s Day to the most loving caring and wonderful mom/person in the world. – from me and this little guy,” Slater wrote.

The star made his Instagram account private on Thursday after dating rumors began. 

Slater and Jay began dating in 2012 and married in 2018. Last year, they welcomed their first child together. The date of their separation has not been shared. 

Slater debuted in his first Broadway show in December 2017 for the main role in the SpongeBob SquarePants musical. His performance received a Tony Award nomination in 2018 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. 

Grande and Gomez were married for two years before they reportedly split in January. They married in May 2021 after being together for 11 months in an intimate ceremony. 

The couple were facing marital problems when Grande went to film Wicked in England and the distance worsened the strain. Rumors of their separation began on July 16 when Grande was photographed at Wimbledon without her wedding or engagement rings. 

The movie began filming last year in the U.K. and is scheduled to be released in November 2024. 

The current SAG-AFTRA strike is affecting production as they only had ten more days left to film before they were forced to pause. In the film, Grande stars as Glinda the Good and Slater as munchkin Boq.
