Security camera footage showing Ariana Grande licking donuts in a shop with her rumored new boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, saying, “I hate America,” has caused for some backlash for the pop star. Grande has already apologized about the comments she made in the video last week, but she recently shared a video with a more in-depth apology than the one she posted on Twitter.
The security footage shows Grande, Alvarez and two other friends at the Wolfee Donut shop in Lake Elsinore, Calif. The video, which was released by TMZ has gone viral, and it shows Grande and Alvarez, subtly licking some donuts on display, before moving to a different display and daring each other to lick other donuts. Her other friends laugh, but look in shock as Grande and Alvarez, whom she later is seen kissing, continue tampering with the donuts.
At the end of the video, an employee brings out a tray of new donuts, to which Grande exclaims, “What the f—k is that? I hate Americans. I hate America.”
