The Queen of Soul is back! Aretha Franklin said that her health issues were taken care of and that she was doing well in an interview with Jet.
The music legend refused to directly address questions surrounding a rumored battle with cancer, but did add that all is well. "I am not going to even deal with [the rumors]," Franklin, 68, said. "I don't have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors. The problem has been resolved."
She added that she does not speak publicly about her personal health, but appreciated her fans for their support. "I want to thank my fans and friends and supporters who have prayed for me and sent me beautiful cards and flowers. Please continue to respect my privacy as I continue to recover." —ISHITA SINGH
