Marvel is adding another sequel to the franchise before Phase 3 takes off in a set new of movies lined up by the comic magnate. Ant-Man, which was released back in July and starred Paul Rudd, will now have a sequel that is titled Ant-Man and The Wasp.
The sequel will follow the story line of Scott Lang, who is currently Ant-Man, team up with Hope van Dyne who will take on the Wasp prototype costume made by her father, Hank Pym. The sequel marks the first film named after its heroine. Because of this, some movies lined up in Phase 3 will be moved around with Black Panther coming out on February 16, 2018 while Captain Marvel will be released on March 8, 2019.
With this announcement as well, Marvel announced three more films that are currently untitled but will have release dates of May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020.
