Ansel Elgort Brings Girlfriend Violetta Komyshan To Paris Fashion Week

Ansel Elgort was photographed with his longtime girlfriend Violetta Komyshan in a rare public appearance at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday.

Elgort, 20, recently earned heartthrob status with his starring turn in massive hit The Fault In Our Stars and a supporting role in the blockbuster Divergent. But, alas, the dreamy actor/musician/model is taken, and has been for some time – he and Komyshan are high school sweethearts.

Elgort and Komyshan were photographed leaving the Valentino runway show in Paris on Wednesday, their first public outing since Elgort hit stardom. The couple had previously avoided making red carpet appearances together.

Who Is Violetta Komyshan?

Elgort has said he wants to keep his personal life outside of the public life; something he learned from Kate Winslet on the set of Divergent.

“It goes back to what Kate Winslet told me: ‘There’s a part of your life that needs to be your own.’ I don’t know why who I’m in love with needs to be public knowledge,” Elgort told the New York Post.

Though Elgort didn’t name his high school sweetheart, he did say that it is nice to be with someone who he can trust and who knew him before his career took off.

“It’s important to me to be with someone who I really trust, and if it’s someone I knew before all of this, that’s nice,” Elgort said.

According to Komyshan’s unverified Twitter page, she is a recent graduate of New York City’s LaGuardia High School, a performing arts school, where she majored in Dance. Elgort also graduated from the legendary high school a few years ago.

While in Paris, the couple has also been taking in the sights. Elgort posted a photo of himself in front of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram Wednesday, captioned “Eiffel selfie.”
