Anna Kendrick Reveals Her Girl Crush On Blake Lively

Anna Kendrick gushed over Blake Lively while promoting her new film The Voices, which stars Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, at the Sundance Film Festival.

Anna Kendrick Praises Ryan Reynolds

In The Voices, Reynolds stars as a factory worker who hears voices from his pet dog (a pseudo angel) and cat (the devil) that battle to influence him on everything, from who he should date to who he might kill. The black comedy/thriller premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, with Kendrick and director Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis) there to promote the film.

E! News caught up with Kendrick and Satrapi and asked what it was like working with Reynolds. Both Kendrick and Satrapi had nothing but praise for the actor, who was not in attendance.

“He’s an absolute dream. I can’t believe how down to earth he is,” Kendrick said. “It’s amazing how as an actor he can be so present and so giving to the other actors even though he’s playing a character who’s not always in touch with reality.”

“He’s really a gentle person,” echoed Satrapi.

Kendrick On Lively: 'She's just heaven!'

But, as amazing as Reynolds may be, it seems his wife, Lively, may have outshined him on set – at least in the eyes of Kendrick. When speaking about Lively, Kendrick couldn’t hide her adoration of the actress and fashion icon:

“Blake was there a lot…She’s just heaven! She’s so kind and, obviously, so stylish. Every time I would see her wear a new nail polish color, I’d be like, ‘I’m going to wear green nail polish like her!’ But then, damn, it doesn’t make me look like Blake Lively. So close!”

Lively, who spent six years playing Serena on the fashion heavy teen drama Gossip Girl, recently took a break from acting and has become known for her red carpet style. Lively is a new spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris and is the face of Gucci’s Premiere fragrance.

Kendrick had two other films that also premiered at the Utah festival: Life After Beth with Aubrey Plaza (Parks & Recreation) and Happy Christmas, co-starring Lena Dunham.
