Anna Faris addressed the rumors about her then-husband Chris Pratt and his Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
In her memoir Unqualified, the actress admitted that she was warned about possible gossip that could hurt her relationship with Pratt. She has previously described the rumors “weirdly stinging,” as she and Pratt had always had a very private life. “Before [Pratt and Lawrence] met in person, my publicist, out of the blue, pulled me aside,” she wrote. “‘Anna, listen there are going to be paparazzi all over them,’ she said.’ There are going to be shots of them laughing together on their way to set. There are going to be stories circulating, and you have to brace yourself for this.'”

The star also described how Lawrence tried to make Faris feel more comfortable and assure her that nothing was going on. “Jennifer and I really are friendly, and she was apologetic even though she didn’t need to be, because she hadn’t done anything wrong,” the star wrote.
Lawrence spoke about her acting scenes with Pratt at the time in 2015, specifically a sex scene. “I had my first real sex scene a couple weeks ago, and it was really bizarre. It was really weird,” she admitted. “It was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that.”
Unqualified is available for purchase now. In it, she also offers a bit of advice for partners who get jealous easily. “If I feel twinges of [jealousy], I try hard to befriend [that person] and compliment them and love them … because 95 percent of the time, it’s hard to have jealous or catty feelings toward someone you really like,” Faris wrote.
Pratt and Faris split in early August after eight years of marriage. They share a five-year old son named Jack.
