Actress Angelina Jolie snapped at a reporter’s question in an interview with Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín, who directed her in the forthcoming Maria.
Jolie was being questioned by London’s The Times executive culture editor Susannah Butter.
At one point in the interview, the actress was asked what she thought a biopic about her directed by Larraín would be like.
“That gets the most insane question award,” she stated in response before she and the Chilean filmmaker laughed for a very long time. “When you’re a public person and you’re playing her, you’re conscious of how you would hate for somebody to interpret your life or think they understand your life, so we tried to be thoughtful. Let’s hope there isn’t one about my life.”
In late August, she and Larraín walked the red carpet at the 81st Venice International Film Festival for the premiere of Maria.
On Nov. 17, Jolie and Knox Jolie-Pitt, her son with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, walked the red carpet during this year’s Governors Awards.
The actress arrived at the ceremony arm-in-arm with Knox at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles while they posed for pictures on the red carpet.
