They say there's nowhere like home for the holidays . . . unless you're Angelina Jolie, 35, and Brad Pitt, 47.

The superstar duo took their famously large brood to Namibia this Christmas, where their daughter Shiloh was born four years ago. The family of eight stayed at a villa on the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary in the village of Langstrand. "They really enjoyed their trip," a source told UsMagazine. "They were able to mingle with locals, visit Swakopmund and go to the beach there and also the beach in their neighborhood." The Jolie-Pitt clan also spent some time exploring the nearby Nakuluft Mountains during their stay.

A week before Christmas, the Golden Globe-nominated actress talked about her hopes to make globetrotting a holiday tradition. "We're going to travel and have an adventure because that's what we love to do," she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. —KIMBERLY STEELE
