Actor and comedian Andy Dick has been reportedly charged with sexual battery and simple battery, two misdemeanors. He allegedly grabbed a woman’s butt twice while she was walking on a Los Angeles sidewalk in April. The woman also claimed he made dirty comments.

In late 2017, Dick was dropped from an independent feature filmRaising Buchanan, following claims of sexual assault on members of the production. Sources described his misconduct as unwanted kissing/licking, groping genitals and sexual propositions.

He denied sexual assault allegations but did admit to licking people.

“I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing,” he said. “It’s me being funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people.”

Additionally, he said he did pose sexual propositions to other cast members, claiming he doesn’t know the difference between sexual misconduct and courtship.

“I don’t know the difference between sexual harassment and trying to get a date,” the comedian said. “In the ’70s, all the girlfriends I got was by kissing and licking their cheek. I don’t know anymore. There were beautiful women and beautiful guys on the set. I flirt with them. I might kiss someone on the set and ask them to go to dinner. They are the ones that took it south.”

In February, Dick’s wife Lena Sved filed a restraining order against the actor after saying he became very violent towards her and their children when he was “blackout drunk.”

His odd behavior even dates back to 2007 when he repeatedly tried to touch and kiss Ivanka Trump while on Jimmy Kimmel Live! show. Dick was dragged by his feet off the stage.

Dick’s drinking problem also got him into hot water when he called Howard Stern a “money-grubbing Jew,” which he apologized for in 2011.

Dick has not released a statement nor have his representatives spoken on his behalf yet.
