Andrew Rannells and Allison Williams were spotted on the set of their hit HBO series Girls on Wednesday afternoon.

Ranells (Elijah) and Williams (Marnie) were accompanied on the New York City shoot by Adam Driver (Adam). Walking down the city street, Rannells wore a floral-patterned shirt under a teal suit, while Williams kept it simple in red pants and a navy blue knit sweater. Driver, meanwhile, was outfitted in a blue shirt, jeans and brown leather shoes.

Williams, following season three of Girls, is more than aware that her character has become something of a villain on the hit series. People like to hate on Marnie, and while Williams knows why, she maintains that as an actress she has to find a way to root for the young woman she portrays.

Williams On Marnie

Marnie would drive me crazy if we were friends in real life, but I have to put that out of my head in order to play her,” Williams told Buzzfeed last month. “Like, sleeping with Elijah is crazy, sleeping with Ray is crazy, furiously hitting on Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) when he mentions his girlfriend in their first conversation is crazy; but I have to be on the couch with her and Elijah hoping they f–k, I have to be in that apartment with Ray kinda wanting it to happen, and I have to support her quest for Desi.”

In addition to furthering the storylines of Marie, Elijah, Adam, Hannah (Lena Dunham) Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), writer and creator Dunham may also be looking to add some new faces for Girls' fourth season. Apparently, Dunham has been pitching guest-starring roles to her pal Taylor Swift and model of the moment Cara Delevingne.

"Taylor loves the show," an insider, who also mentioned Delevingne, told The Hollywood Gossip. "Lena would love her to take on a more permanent role and maybe pen some music for the show."
