On April 13, 16-year-old Ralph Yarl was sent to pick up his siblings from their friend’s house. He pulled into the driveway at N.E. 115th St. in Kansas City, Missouri before going to the front door to get his younger siblings. Unbeknownst to him, he was supposed to be at N.E. 115 Terr. instead of St.
His GoFundMe page, set up by his aunt for medical bills, reads, “the man in the home opened the door, looked my nephew in the eye, and shot him in the head. My nephew fell to the ground, and the man shot him again. Ralph was then able to get up and run to the neighbor’s house, looking for help. Unfortunately, he had to run to 3 different homes before someone finally agreed to help him after he was told to lie on the ground with his hands up.”
