Amy Schumer Hits Back At Body-Shamers On Instagram, Shares Bathing Suit Selfie

Amy Schumer took to Instagram Wednesday to hit back at those who were body-shaming her after pictures of her in a bikini hit the internet.

Schumer, 34, has been vacationing with her boyfriend Ben Hanisch in Hawaii, where paparazzi have been taking pictures of them. After the pictures hit the web, Schumer was inundated on social media with people criticizing her body. In response, Schumer headed to Instagram to call out the trolls.

“I meant to write ‘good morning trolls!’ I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you’ve never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone,” Schumer captioned a picture of herself in a bikini. “This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!”
