On Thursday, Amy Schumer was arrested at the Hart Senate Office Building while protesting against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The comedian and actress was among hundreds of other protesters voicing opposition to President Trump’s Supreme Court pick.
Schumer told The Hill that she was being arrested, and while at the Senate building the “I Feel Pretty” star also recorded a video saying that there was a possibility that she’d be arrested.
Another video also surfaced from the protest which showed law enforcement officials asking Schumer and other demonstrators if they wanted to be arrested.

The video captures Schumer saying “yes” and nodding in response.
Instead of zip-tie handcuffs, protestors were given different colored bracelets by the police. When Schumer was asked about her pink bracelet by a reporter for The Hill, Schumer said it was “for drinking.”
Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski was also arrested at the protest and was seen standing alongside Schumer.
Earlier on Thursday, Schumer also participated in a celebrity-filled anti-Kavanaugh protest outside of the Supreme Court.
Last week, Schumer even took to Twitter to voice her opposition to Kavanaugh.
In September, Christine Blasey Ford testified against Kavanaugh before the Senate Judiciary Committee for an assault that took place at a high school party over 30 years ago. Kavanaugh has continued to deny the accusations.
