Amy Schumer Calls Out Kanye West During ‘Saturday Night Live’ Monologue

Comedian Amy Schumer called out Kanye West‘s recent antisemitic remarks during her Nov. 5 Saturday Night Live monologue.

Schumer addressed the rapper while joking about her husband, Chris Fischer‘s, recent autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.

“It used to be called Asperger’s, but then they found out — this is true — that Dr. Asperger had Nazi ties, Kanye,” the I Feel Pretty star quipped.

In a since-deleted Oct. 8 tweet, the Donda rapper threatened “to go death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE.” He added, “You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone who ever opposes your agenda.”

Schumer isn’t the only celebrity who has denounced West’s antisemitic remarks over the past month.

Jewish actress and activist Jamie Lee Curtis responded on Twitter, “The holiest day in Judaism was last week. Words matter. A threat to Jewish people ended once in a genocide.”

“Your words hurt and incite violence. You are a father. Please stop,” she urged.

John Legend, “All of Me” singer and former close friend of West’s, also chimed in on Twitter. “Weird how all these ‘free, independent thinkers’ always seem to land at the same old anti blackness and anti semitism,” he wrote, pointedly.

Jewish singer and producer Jack Antonoff opted for a short and sweet dig at the rapper. “Kanye a little b-tch,” he tweeted.

West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, also took to socials to condemn his remarks. She wrote, “Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.”

Her sister, Khloé Kardashian, shared an Instagram post that read, “I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people.”

On Nov. 3, West shared on Twitter, “I’m not talking to nooobody for a month.”

Supposedly, he’s “taking a 30 day cleanse.”

That’s probably a wise decision.
