Amid rumors that Kanye West and Bianca Censori may be getting a divorce, the couple were spotted out and about together in Japan.
West and Censori were seen shopping at Dover Street Market In Tokyo on the evening of Oct. 22. Censori wore an outfit comparatively conservative to her usual skimpy style, in a black halter top and shorts with tights underneath.
West wore a black jacket and trousers with sneakers, an outfit that, accompanied by a seemingly calm look, prompted some internet users to comment that he looked like “Old Kanye” from 2016. West and Censori held hands as they walked, prompting further speculation about the recent rumors of divorce.
West and Censori reportedly told people they had broken up a few weeks earlier, and Censori was planning on moving back to Australia to be with her family. Insiders reported that Censori’s family was excited and anxious for the relationship to end.
The romance has upset Censori’s social circle, who fear that West has exacted full control over her life, including her body, diet, style, sleep schedule, social media, social life and demeanor.
The couple was seen nearly a week after a lawsuit filed against West earlier this year resurfaced.
In June, West’s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta filed a lawsuit against him in which she accused West of harassing and abusing her during the years of her employment between 2021 and 2022. West dubbed the lawsuit “baseless” and denied all allegations.
In an amended complaint filed in California earlier this month, Pisciotta claimed West “touched” and “forced himself in and on” her numerous times without her consent, and she recounted a specific occasion at a studio session in Santa Monica co-hosted by West and Sean Combs, in which she was drugged and assaulted by West.
There have also been rumors that West has plans to live in Tokyo in the future.
