Amid Divorce & Financial Strain Revelations, Tori Spelling Recalls Getting Shot By A BB Gun At Christmas Parade

Beverly Hills 90210 alum Tori Spelling shared an old photo of herself and costar Brian Austin Green at a holiday event, paired with an old memory from the occasion.

The photo on Instagram shows Spelling and Green seated on a parade float with red and white ribbons attached to their jackets, marking the “61st Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade 1992.”

Spelling captioned the photo, “19 and riding in The Hollywood Christmas🎄Parade with my teen dream on and off camera @brianaustingreen.”

She recalled in her caption, “I had grown up watching this event on tv and I was beyond excited that Donna + David had been asked to ride on an antique car thru the parade. It was 1992 and 90210 was at its prime. It was a great ride till I got shot with a BB gun… Didn’t see that one coming did you?”

She continued, “I remember waving to the crowds as our car moved thru the parade and suddenly feeling a hot sharp pain on my leg. I whispered to Bri, ‘omg I’ve been shot!’ he replied in our usual banter. ‘You’re being dramatic.’ Fair, he knew me well. I had a flare for drama. After all it’s a teen’s right 😂. So, I shrugged it off as my overactive imagination and went back to waving.”

“All teen angst aside, after the parade I did check my jeans and sure enough there was a burn hole on my upper Levi thigh. ✅. I was ok the 501’s were not,” She said.

Spelling ended, “Needless to say, it took me decades to be able to ride in another parade. But, I still love the tradition of watching it annually on tv with my kids. And, the whole experience added to my Christmas sTORIes. 🎄•”

She concluded her caption with the hashtags, “#90210 #donnaanddavid #christmasmemories”

Spelling and Green played Donna Martin and David Silver on Beverly Hills 90210 for 10 seasons. Love interests on the show, the two actors also dated off camera for a long time, before they had an 18-year falling out. They eventually reconciled, and Spelling explained in an April episode of her MisSpelling podcast that she and Green are now as close as “brother and sister.” This comparison found many fans uncomfortable given the two’s previous sexual chemistry.

Spelling has been opening up a lot recently, even sharing that she didn’t think anyone could understand her situation as the financially struggling child of billionaires. Meanwhile, Spelling’s divorce from Dean McDermott has occupied a significant portion of her time.
