Angelina Jolie made a rare appearance on the red carpet at the New York Film Festival premiere of Maria accompanied by her children Zahara, Maddox and Pax.
On Sunday, the actress looked stunning as she posed beside her three kids at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
The happy family smiled as they showed support for their mother’s new role as the late opera singer, Maria Callas.
Jolie was gleaming as she showed off a white chiffon dress with a pleated bottom.
Zahara followed in her mother’s footsteps as she wore a cream-colored silk dress while Jolie’s eldest sons opted for tailored suits and dress shoes.
The biographical film follows the life of the renowned singer during the final week of her life before she suddenly dies of a heart attack at 53.
On the red carpet, the actress divulged what it was like to prepare for the taxing role – from singing lessons to Italian classes. “It was a wonderful, long process,” she noted.
Maria marks Jolie’s first leading role since her film Eternals in 2021. In a recent interview, the actress, who has been in an ongoing legal battle with ex Brad Pitt, said she took time away from the big screen to focus more of her energy on her kids.
Maria comes to theaters on Nov. 27.
