Show Project audition on 'America's Got Talent'
Many past contestants from America’s Got Talent were present for the AGT: Holiday Spectacular last night, though most of the performers were from season 11.
The night led off with Brian Justin Crum and other season 11 performers getting the crowd into a fun rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” Then ventriloquist Terry Fator did a bit with a puppet dressed like Elvis, and did an impressive cover of “Blue Christmas.”
Next, a pre-recorded performance of Jon Dorenbos doing card trick in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room. Fans agreed he should have been more involved in the special, but with his NFL schedule now, it would not have been possible.
There was a beautiful tribute to military families by season six’s Silhouettes with a musical backdrop by season nine’s Sons of Serendip. Season eleven runner-ups The Clairvoyants took on A Christmas Carol and Trump inauguration singer Janet Evancho belted out “Someday at Christmas.”
Other performers to take the stage included Andra Day, Olate Dogs, Sal Valentinetti and Heidi Klum, Pentatonix, winner Mat Franco, youngster winner Grace Van Der Waal, and Professor Splash.
AGT season 12 premieres next summer on NBC.
