AMC Offers DISH Live Streaming Of 'The Walking Dead' Season 3 Premiere

AMC is proving its dedication to its fans — particularly the fans of one of its many acclaimed shows, The Walking Dead, by offering live streaming of the season three premiere of the show, starring Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes), Steven Yeun (Glenn), and Norman Reedus (Daryl) to audiences who subscribe to DISH, which is dropping AMC from its lineup.

"To gain leverage in an unrelated lawsuit, DISH has decided to deny their customers access to AMC shows including ‘The Walking Dead,’ the series that has shattered basic cable ratings records," the network wrote in a statement. "Although The Walking Dead is the #1 basic cable scripted drama for DISH customers, DISH has stated it has no plans to bring back AMC. DISH customers who want to watch the entire season at the same time as the rest of the country should switch television providers now…time is running out.”

In addition to AMC, DISH is also dropping sister networks IFC, WE tv and the Sundance Channel, according to the release. The third season of The Walking Dead will be broken up into two equal half-seasons of eight episodes each, the first kicking off on October 14, and the second starting in February of 2013.

Dish customers can register to see the free live stream of The Walking Dead here: https://www.amctv.com/thewalkingdead4dish/.
