Amber Rose, who is famously on good terms with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, wished him a Happy Father’s Day over the weekend.
Rose took to Instagram on Sunday to honor Khalifa, who is the father to her young son Sebastian. She captioned a picture of the rapper with Sebastian, “Happy Father’s Day to Sebastian’s Dad @mistercap Thee most Awesomest Dad in the World!!! ( Besides my Daddy) ??? Wish I could be home with you guys Today ? but have a blast and love each other up all day! ?.”
Rose and Khalifa finalized their divorce earlier this month, and then headed to the Ace of Spades strip club in L.A., TMZ reported. While it was claimed that Rose and her rapper ex were celebrating their divorce, the model explained on Twitter that it was more a celebration of love.
“Too much fun with my Ex hubby last night & no we didn’t celebrate our divorce we celebrated our love 4 each other cuz that never goes away,” Rose wrote.
Since their estrangement, Rose has voiced her respect for Khalifa and her hope that they will be successful as friends and co-parents.
“I think that we just wanted different things in our lives. Being married in the public is not easy. Having access to pretty much any and everything we want is not easy. We still love each other,” she said. “Right now we’re just working on co-parenting and learning how to be friends. He’s at my house a lot for the baby. I’m at his house.”
